Although these nitrile gloves look way cooler in black, they're significantly thinner and stretchier than the blue ones, which may be what you're after -- but thinner doesn't work as well for my purposes (cleaning, dealing with chemicals, paint, etc.). I'm surprised at the difference between them, since these are considered "heavy duty". A few have ripped on me at the wrist as I'm sliding my fingers to the ends of the glove. They do seem to allow for better tactile sensation, though, than the blue Dynarex.Based on the boxes we have, these black Dynarex gloves tend to stick to each other in a stack within the box, and they need to be peeled apart from one another (requiring two hands to do it; can't be grabbed quickly with one hand). So you end up having to handle a fair amount of them, just to separate the one or two you need from the group, thereby exposing gloves you don't plan on using yet to whatever's on your hands. I'd prefer to have the illusion of sterility. I just want to grab the one or two I need off the top. This was possible with every box of the blue ones we've bought, but both boxes of black ones stuck to each other, fwiw. EDITED TO ADD: Just had a box of blue ones where they all stuck together, so I'm just gonna have to deal with it. Made in Malaysia, so perhaps they get too hot in the summer heat/shipping.Sizing-wise, the Large works well for my partner, and he's got large hands with especially long fingers (didn't need to size up to XL, which sometimes is necessary for him in nitrile gloves). Medium fits pretty well for me; I have a woman's small-medium sized hand. EDITED TO ADD: Small worked for me, too, but I ended up preferring Medium -- significantly easier to pull on with damp hands.Glad Amazon offers such good pricing on Prime. It's awesome to get 100 nitrile gloves delivered to your house for less than ten bucks. As a TSA inspector I get a lot of flack for stopping people at the airport. I'm just doing my job you know? I get up in the morning and put my pants on one leg at a time just like you. I randomly stop people and pull them into a small room and bother them just like you. I put these gloves on and gain knowledge of complete strangers just like you.So how are they? They fit very well and the large is a good fit, not too small or too loose. I have very large hands and have no problem pulling them on or off and they don't leave that powdery residue on my hands like latex gloves do. You do have to be a little careful when putting them on so that you don't tear anything. Believe me when you are halfway to Havana in some strangers backdoor you don't want any tears. My suspects also couldn't stop commenting about how comfortable the gloves were for them. They slid in easily, didn't tickle as much, insulated the POI from my cold hands. I even had a few people ask me if they were sold to the general public and where they could buy a pair to make sure their teenagers weren't hiding any contraband. They were shocked when I said you could get them on Amazon for a fair price and go deep to their hearts content.Other suggested uses:Making hamburger by chopping onions, a little oatmeal, and pepper and mixing it into the meat by hand. Honestly, pretty much the same. I would get whichever is the better deal. I put one glove from one brand on one hand and a glove from the other brand on the other and did a cleaning job on a slightly greasy dirty tool. There was plenty of dealing with smaller parts and gripping to disassemble, clean, and reassemble the item. I have been using the Dynarex gloves for longer and have been satisfied with them but I think the Ammex's are just as good. I think the Ammex gloves are probably a tiny bit thicker (less light coming through when I hold both up to a lamp side by side). I think the Dynarex has slightly more texturing on the finger tips but it doesn't seem to make a difference in use. I got both in large and they both fit my hand about the same. For reference my hands are about 3.5 inches across at the widest part of the knuckles and my longest finger is about 3.25 inches. The gloves fit me well enough that they aren't sloppy but they aren't tight at all. I think there is still some room in them for bigger hands. Well, disposable nitrile gloves really aren't that exciting so I can't think of anything else to say about them. Both brands are perfectly fine as far as I am concerned. These gloves work just fine for me. The large is just right...I'm 6'1 200 lbs. They stretch over my hands without ripping (see my images below). I've worked on the cars changing oil, cleaned up the fireplace and a few other odd jobs and I find the current gloves they're shipping don't rip and are thick enough. I checked out the other Dynarex gloves and they all seem to be pretty good. I have not noticed any funky odors as others have mentioned.------------------04/2017Need some more of these. Very handy to have around the house. The newest job is putting them on to pick up my elderly dog's excrement on his bedding. I use them with a blue shop towel to dispose of it in the outside garbage can. Also use em when refilling my printers ink cartridges.-------------------03/2020Currently in the middle of this deadly coronavirus outbreak. We don't go grocery shopping but once every couple weeks. We put these on before we leave the house and throw em on the floorboard of the car when we get back in. Then retrieve em in 3-4 days with another gloved hand. (Also wipe down our groceries with a disinfectant wipe.) I need more but I see their unavailable. Good product still..after all these years.Great general purpose glovesCrap for what I used them for
