I've purchased multiple times. Exactly what I need for my binding jobs. Good quality, fast delivery. These were excellent for the 30-page directory I made. Will definitely purchase these again for future projects.Perfect for my needs, and the price was right! Thank you, China. Not really. But, they may have resulted in a positive initial impression by potential clients (I'm a consultant) upon unwrapping that brown security bag concealing a bound proposal. At least, I would like to think so.Using these little guys, along with the Fellowes binding machine (you can find that here on Amazon too - something like this: "Fellowes Binding Machine Star Plus (5006501)"), results in far more professional-looking products (e.g., briefings, reports, and so on). It's a good idea to not only get the Fellowes binding machine, but the clear front and black back covers (like this: Fellowes Binding Linen Presentation Covers, Letter, Black, 200 Pack (5217001)). We've been using these for years, and is a great mid-quality solution when you don't want to use big formal binders or grade-school quality and unappealing paper folders, etc.Keep in mind that there are quite a few sizes, and I recommend a starter pack of sorts so that you can try a few different sizes. We've used them all and very happy with the purchase and quality of the products. These are exactly what you would expect.Easiest and most economical way to professional presentationsThe combs were very easy for a novice to use. To adjust the length from the 11 inch size to the 8 1/2 it was simply a matter of clipping off a set of four of the curls in the comb with a scissors. I always thought I'd want the metal rings, but to cut 300 of them would have been a nightmare with wire cutters. The strong, yet flexible. The paper feeds over the holes very easily. I learned a lot making 200 items for a client. I also like that the combs come in a wide variety of colors as well as sizes. Did I mention they are very economical? L.LynneI bought these for use in my homeschool. I wouldn’t recommend them for this purpose. I didn’t find them unsafe, just unsuitable for my 8 year old. These are good for temporary use, they don’t hold up to a lot of movement. They work with my binding machine but require a lot of manual adjustments. There’s nothing wrong with them though, and we may buy again if we continue to use this binding method. They arrived on time, well packaged and undamaged.I used to pay over $20 @ my local office supply store for a package of 25 Ibico binding spines.I can't believe I paid $11 for a 100 Pack. These Fellowes Canada Plastic Combs are 100% compatible with my Ibico binding machine. They work great and the price is incredible.Highly recommend ... will definitely buy again. This is slightly shorter than the long side of Letter paper so I had to adjust several times to align with the paper, in order to place the comb in the center of the paper. So this is a bit of pain. The comb is also somewhat softer than I'd like it to be. Every time I bind it, 1 or 2 combs come off. I'll finish off this box and try another brand. The description on the store page was different than what came to us. this purchase was completely useless to meUnable to change or return this item although Amazon should allow me to do return if I do not like my itemIf you have the machine to install these spines, they do a good job for making easily read manuals, etc.
